Hi, I’m Sarah, the heart and hands behind Swoon Makeup. With nearly two decades of experience in makeup and hairstyling, I create timeless, luminous bridal beauty so you can feel radiant, confident, and completely yourself on your wedding day.

I fell in love with makeup at just four years old, studied Makeup & Hairstyling at Tshwane University of Technology, and graduated top of my class in 2008. Since relocating to the Helderberg region in 2023, I’ve been working with brides across the Cape Winelands, bringing calm energy, warmth, and experience from working with actors, celebrities, and countless happy brides.

My greatest joy is ensuring you feel unforgettable as you walk down the aisle.

Film, TV & Special Effects Makeup Artist

Alongside my bridal work, I am a South Africa–based Special Effects, Beauty Makeup Artist and Wig Stylist, trusted on high-end film and television productions.

My recent credits include Netflix’s global hit One Piece (Season 2), where I worked on the core hair and makeup team and was personally responsible for the grooming and continuity of lead actor Taz Skylar (Sanji). I also recently completed work on the UK mini-series Inheritance with Bell Powley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sarah Jackson.

My work spans high-end beauty, hair styling, custom lace-front wigs, realistic injury simulation, and cinematic SFX, always delivered with a calm, reliable presence under pressure. I’m available for local and international film and television work.
